Facelift
A facelift, also known as a rhytidectomy, rejuvenates the face and neck by tightening underlying muscles, removing excess fat, and redraping the skin. Dr. Ahn uses the deep plane technique — the gold standard — to lift the jowls without relying on skin tension, so results look natural, never pulled.

Most of the bruising has resolved by about ten days, and you will look presentable in public with a little make-up in two to three weeks. Your best results build from there, continuing to refine all the way out to a year after surgery.
Incisions are designed to hide within natural creases and behind the tragus, the cartilage in front of the ear opening. Because the deep plane technique puts no tension on the skin edges, the scars are very difficult, if not impossible, to see.
